The first day of 2010 brought in many celebrations. One of the big celebrations in Tallahassee, Florida was the marriage of Jessica Sherman and Sentibaleng Ncube! They were married at St. Thomas More and they’re reception was at Hotel Duval. This was hotel Duval’s first wedding reception since their grand opening. Everything was beautiful and captivating. The wedding and reception was run flawlessly by My Elegant Affairs. Jessica’s makeup was beautifully done by Danielle Ardister, who always does a wonder job with all of her brides.

Hands down…this is one of our favorite couples! Chris and Daria are a photographer’s dream clients in any photographer’s handbook. They started out with great ideas at their engagement session AND they allowed us to be creative with them and get some awesome shots. And on their wedding day, they allowed us to just be us and we captured some great moments of them on their big day that they’ll always remember. We had a great time and they did too. Of course the weather was “Beautifully” hot, and so is this family! As a photographer, I wear many hats, one of those hats is a “clown” hat…LOL…and I wore that hat for the oldest son, just to get him to crack a smile. If they look familiar, that’s because, you saw their Mega Ace images that they took in the winter. Here are some images from the Hubbard family.

Mr. and Mrs. Latimer are such a beautiful couple, then when they had a baby…oh my, they became a “Beautiful Family!” Mega Ace was there for their engagement photos, the maternity photos, and now their first family photo session! We walked a small section of Miami Beach in the blazing heat…did I say, “Blazing Heat!” already? We got some really cool images and found a really cool fountain that baby Najee didn’t mind taking the rest of his images at. Thank you Latimer’s for the great time…and we love you!

Our Mega Ace clients are the best…no matter what the weather is outside (it was 95 in the shade), they have the best attitudes and a determination to get great images. I spent some time with the Jones family in Southwood, and not only do I like mom, but fell in love with her children. Here are a few of those shots.

Here’s Loretta and Marko. Marko is from New York and Loretta is from Florida, when New York and Florida get together, it’s like MAGIC! They are planning a beautiful wedding on a beautiful island. These images were taken at Maclay Gardens in Tallahassee, Florida.

I had the pleasure of shooting Sheila and Brad Downey before he deployed overseas. I’ve never shot a guy from the military who had such a great sense of humor without smiling. I worked hard to get him to crack just a little smile

We had the opportunity to do a shoot with recent FAMU graduate Myah Clayton. Her father was so proud of her for graduating, he decided to arrange a shoot for her as a gift. She is a beautiful model and did wonderful during her shoot.
